Briley is now 7 months!

Can you believe Briley Renee is now 7 months? It is so scary to see time fly by as fast as it is. She is growing up WAY to fast! We went for her 6 month checkup recently. She is developing as expected. She weighs 16.5 pounds (50th percentile); 27 3/4in. tall (90th percentile); and has a 17in. head circumference (75th percentile). Things our little Miss Priss is doing: ~grabbing things within her reach~switching toys from hand to hand~giggling~sitting up without help but only for a few seconds~eating Stage 2 babyfood~bouncing in her jumper~becoming more aware of her surroundings~smiles when she sees a familiar face~pulls her bows off her head~drools constantly...I think we will have some wittle teeth soon!
Being a mother has taught me so many things! Over the past 7 months I have learned to be more patient and to never take anything for granted. Briley has helped me realize not to stress over the small stuff. I now cherish each & every minute with our little bundle of joy, even the wee hours of the morning!! Being a parent is one of the most amazing & rewarding gifts God has ever given me!! I am so blessed to wake up each and every morning to a healthy, smiling baby's face. People have always said there is no better love than the love of a child. Being a mommy now I can say... YES THAT IS TRUE!!! And now... of course... I have to post some pics from this past couple of months!!

Looooong Overdue!!

So... I know I have not posted in ages. We have been extremely busy lately. I just wanted to post a couple of pictures from our recent trip to Texas. Alyssa, Briley, & I went for a few days for cousin Tyler's 1st birthday party. We had such a good time and really enjoyed seeing our family & friends. Briley did amazingly well on the airplane. We definitley could not have done it without the help of Briley's Aunt Lee Lee. We miss everyone in Texas and hope to see yall again very soon!! Here are some pictures from our visit.
