Briley's 2 Month Checkup

Well, our little girl is a little over 2 months old. She went for her checkup this weekend. She now weighs 10 pounds 11 ounces. The doctor was very pleased at how well she is developing. Briley had to receive four vaccines. I tried to convince them to combine them into only 1 shot but had no luck. It was such an awful experience. We both cried together!!
Words can't even express how rewarding it is to be a mother. Seeing Briley change so much over these past few weeks have been such an amazing experience. She is now smiling VERY often which just brightens my days!! As far as sleeping, she seems to be getting into a routine that Mommy and Daddy can really adjust to. Our daughter goes to bed about 9ish and nearly sleeps through the night. If she wakes up at all it is around 4 to eat. Most mornings she sleeps til about 8. The other morning she woke up fussy from her vaccines she received so I put her on my tummy and she went right to sleep... so I thought. Mommy was sleeping really well but apparently Miss Priss was not. Jeremy woke up to find that his precious little daughter was staring right at him. I think it really made Daddy's day!!

I can't wait to see her.
Congratulations on turning 26 years old yesterday, Emily I love you very much.
I am so happy that you are enjoying the moment. Some young parents just see it as tending kids, and they are missing so much. And just wait until you are a grandmother. You know that handprint the teacher always sends home with the poem that makes mommies cry. Well grandbabies are that multiplied times a milliongazillion :0) I thank my children and their spouses for all soon to be 5 yes FIVE of mine. Oh this blog is supposed to be about you .... oh wellllll and great nieces and nephews are right up there on the grandbaby scale.
I love you, Little Girl and again
Happy birthday your card is in the mail well as soon as i drop it off.
